Meet our family
Gerloff Farms began its roots in 1906 when Richard & Lena Gerloff bought the home place in Bland, MO. They started a family and raised cattle, grain and horses. Alfred, one of their 7 children, later married Esther Lange and they had 3 children of their own. In 1957, they bought their first Angus heifers from East Central Angus Sale. Shortly thereafter, their youngest son, Charles became involved in 4-H and his love for cattle began to grow. He and his wife Rena Norman have since continued to expand the Angus herd and in 2014 they added the Simmental bloodline. The operation continues to grow and currently the 3rd, 4th and 5th Gerloff generations are working hard to maintain the legacy of being “Dedicated to the livestock industry since 1906.”
Our operation prides itself in offering you cattle that work in your environment and build on your bottom line. You can buy with confidence knowing that Gerloff Farms genetics will succeed in your pasture and grab the attention of your calf buyer.
Located near Jefferson City, in the hills and valleys of central Missouri, we encourage you to stop in and see what we have to offer.
